2024 & 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer's- Greater Irvine
When the Greater Irvine Walk to End Alzheimer's called, our PAVA students answered- loudly, proudly, and in force! More than 100 PAVA students showed up to one of the nation's largest Alzheimer's and dementia awareness events, joining over 371,000 participants nationwide in a powerful movement to fight a disease that steals memories, identities, and loved ones from millions of families every year. This was not a moment on the sidelines. Our students were in the heart of it-from the first set-up to the final clean-up, PAVA was there. Before the day of the walk, our students were already at work- hand-writing hundreds of heartfelt thank-you cards to every supporter and participant, assembling care packages, and sending out fundraising materials to fuel the mission. This is what PAVA looks like in action- standing together, moving together, and advocating together for a future free of Alzheimer's. Not because they had to, but because they understood that showing up matters, that every card written, every package sent, every mile walked sends a message to patients and families fighting this disease every single day. You are not forgotten. We are walking for you!Â
