Hi Jad, just reviewed (= meaning I just had ChatGPT help me simplify and understand haha:)) this article comparing Skinner and Marxism and now I’m questioning whether free will even exists.
Maybe all of our thoughts and behaviors are just patterns shaped by our environment?
Agree with Kayla. This feels like the beginning of a potential journal club topic and something you could totally start. It could be fun to pull a couple more papers and invite other BioImpact members to read and then discuss. Maybe if we have a parent in the psychology or cognitive science field, they could help moderate discussion and provide perspective. I would be of zero help with the discussion having no real background in cog sci, but would be happy to help facilitate setting this up for sure! let me know, and we can start working on it.
